Alhijra Islamic schools encompasses Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools, are private schools found in Funguni street, Pangani District in Tanga Region. The primary school was founded in 2001 with registration number EM.12363 under the stewardship of ANSAAR MUSLIM YOUTH CENTRE as the founder with SHEIK HAFIDH ALAMARY as the first school Manager.

After 10 years of service secondary section was later initiated in 2011 with registration number S4468 and later gained examination number of S5058 from NECTA.

As of now  the school is registered as day school with hostel services built on more than 5 hectors of land with nice and attractive natural and landscaped environment.
